Paco & Lola Prime 2021 displays a bright straw-yellow color with vibrant greenish reflections, showcasing the precision, depth, and marine personality of old-vine Albariño from the Val do Salnés subzone.

On the nose, it reveals an intense, refined, and complex aromatic profile. Ripe citrus notes of preserved lemon and grapefruit mingle with crisp orchard fruits, white peach, and fresh white blossom. These primary aromas are elevated by sophisticated autolytic nuances derived from extended lees aging—yielding scents of brioche, toasted almond, subtle dried herbs, and an authentic Atlantic saline breeze with crushed granite minerality.

On the palate, it makes an enveloping and broad entrance with a creamy, satiny mouthfeel. The depth and concentration imparted by batônnage and lees contact are seamlessly lifted by a chiseled, linear acidity that provides tension and vibrant freshness. The finish is extensive, mineral-driven, and persistent, leaving lingering echoes of ripe stone fruit, citrus zest, and a mouthwatering, saline aftertaste.

Production and Serving Details

Grape Variety: 100% Albariño from sustainably managed old bush vineyards in the Val do Salnés subzone

Vinification & Aging: Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by extended aging on fine lees with regular bâttonage to enhance texture, volume, and longevity

Drinking Window: Now through 2029
